Some of these HTML e-mails use third-party services that can track the recipient’s response through the use of custom links within the e-mail and by recording the download of images embedded within the HTML from the third party’s server. This does allow FlashPoint IP to deduce whether particular recipients have opened the message and to associate “click-throughs” to specific web pages on our site with specific e-mail addresses to which the message was sent. We may record and use this information in subsequent marketing activities.
