Privacy Policy

For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes only the visitor’s IP address, web browser version, the referring page, and the site the visitor came from. Sometimes it is possible to identify the visitor’s organization from the IP address. We automatically collect this information, and aggregate information on which pages are accessed by visitors. This information is used to inform and improve the structure and content of our web pages. Note that, where visitors come to our site by clicking on a link in an e-mail received from FlashPoint IP, it may be possible for us to associate that visit with the address to which the e-mail was sent.

We also collect information volunteered by the visitor on our contact form, and use this information to service the visitor in the manner requested and for marketing purposes. We collect contact information of the users of our services; this information is used to provide access to additional support material, and to provide notification of related offerings. The only circumstance in which the contact information we collect from visitors is shared with any other organization is where it is provided in relation to an event or activity jointly organized with that organization. In such cases, this fact will be clearly stated at the point where the information is collected. We require of such partner organizations that they do not pass the information to third parties.

If you supply us with your postal address on-line, you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new services or upcoming events. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from us regarding information they have requested on-line. They also may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such e-mails, postal mailers, or telephone calls, please let us know by sending us an e-mail message.

We occasionally send HTML e-mails to customers and other contacts in order to update them on our services and the activities of our business (for example, our “FPIP News & Views”). We send such e-mails in accordance with legal and regulatory frameworks in the United States and the European Union, as well as with best industry practice. These e-mails always include a clear title that identifies their purpose, functioning return e-mail, mailing addresses at FlashPoint IP, and a straightforward and effective “unsubscribe” mechanism. You can also ask not to receive such messages by mailing moc.P1714105436Itnio1714105436Phsal1714105436F@evo1714105436mer1714105436. If you do so, the e-mail address from which your request is sent will no longer receive any unsolicited e-mail from FlashPoint IP.

Some of these HTML e-mails use third-party services that can track the recipient’s response through the use of custom links within the e-mail and by recording the download of images embedded within the HTML from the third party’s server. This does allow FlashPoint IP to deduce whether particular recipients have opened the message and to associate “click-throughs” to specific web pages on our site with specific e-mail addresses to which the message was sent. We may record and use this information in subsequent marketing activities.
